Here’s how it works, depending on your booking status :
If Your Ride Is Not Yet Confirmed (Pending Request)
If you’ve submitted a Trip or Booking request, but it hasn't been confirmed yet, and you want to update the pickup or drop-off address:
➡️ Cancel the current request
➡️ Submit a new request with the updated address
Why?
Because Transport providers evaluate your request based on the exact route and distance you originally entered. Changing the address modifies the Trip parameters.
If your booking is already confirmed
If your ride has been confirmed, and you want to modify the pickup or drop-off address, you have 2 options:
- Contact the Transport Provider directly
- Ask if they are able to accommodate the address change.
- This is usually the best first step, especially for small changes.
- You’ll find the provider’s contact info in your Booking summary.
- Cancel your booking and book again
- If the provider cannot accommodate the change, you may cancel the booking and book a new one.
- ⚠️ Cancellation fees may apply, depending on the Cancellation policy of your original booking.
Trouble selecting the right address?
If you had issues using the address search:
- Use the “Select on map” feature to manually pinpoint your location.
- This is especially helpful for rural areas, landmarks, or locations not well recognized by the address search engine.
Click on the map to drop the red pin, then click the “Select”' button to confirm the address.
Don't worry if the selected address isn't 100% exact. After booking, you can always contact the Transport Provider to confirm the exact address — as long as it is not too far from the one originally selected.
