At the end of each ride booked via monTransport.com, you must ask the Traveler to provide their 8-digit Booking code in order to confirm the Trip and trigger payment and invoicing.
If the code provided seems invalid, here’s what to do.
1. Double-check the code
- Ask the Traveler to repeat or show the code from their confirmation email or account.
- Make sure there are no typos or confusion between similar characters (e.g., “0” vs “O”, “1” vs “I”).
2. If the code doesn’t work
If the Booking code cannot be validated or the Traveler doesn’t have it, you still have two options to get paid:
- The Traveler can validate the ride manually
The Traveler has the option to confirm the ride from their monTransport.com account, which will unlock payment and invoicing. - Automatic validation after 7 days
If no issue is reported by the Traveler within 7 days after the scheduled departure time, the ride will be considered completed by default.
Your payment and invoice will be released automatically.
Why is the Booking code important?
The Booking code helps to:
- Confirm that the ride was completed as agreed
- Protect both you and the Traveler in case of disputes
- Trigger payment and invoicing immediately
Even if you can’t validate the code at the end of the ride, your payment is still secured as long as no issue is declared.
