monTransport.com applies a Service fee (commission) on each completed booking to support:
- Secure payment processing
- Customer support
- Ongoing client acquisition
- Platform operations
This commission is already included in the price shown to Travelers.
1. Quote Requests (Classic Trips) & Automatic Bids
When a provider submits a quote or configures an Automatic Bid:
- A 15% platform fee (excl. VAT) is added to the provider’s base Bid
- The Traveler sees the full price (Bid + commission)
- The provider receives exactly the amount they submitted
Example:
- Provider Bid: €100
- Platform commission (15% excl. VAT): €15
- Traveler sees: €115
- Provider receives: €100
The commission is handled automatically via the platform’s invoicing and payout system.
2. Instant price Bookings (Flash Trips)
For Instant Pricing bookings (when a Traveler books directly without waiting for Bids):
- The platform calculates and displays a dynamic Instant price, based on historical data and route type
- The provider’s payout is fixed and pre-agreed
- The difference between the Traveler price and provider payout is the platform’s commission (incl. VAT where applicable)
Example:
- Pre-agreed provider payout: €100
- Instant price shown to Traveler: €116.50
- Platform margin: €16.50
- Provider receives: €100
Invoices & Transparency
For every completed booking:
- An invoice is issued to the Traveler on behalf of the provider (for the full fare)
- A separate invoice details the platform’s Service fee (visible only to the provider)
